Madi's Birthday Party
Paul is working tonight so we're headed off to CA early in the morning, arriving in time for Madi's Birthday Party. We'll be returning early Sunday because the weatherman is predicting monsoon storms late Sunday. We need to beat them home.
I've spent most of the afternoon trying to teach myself photoshop. Photoshop is a program I've avoided for the 10 years I've been scanning photos or taking digital photos. I guess it's time. I have Photoshop Elements that came with one of my printers. I figure I'll start with this program before spending money on the larger program, then discovering I don't have and can't get a clue.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog today.

Betty what a gorgeous photo! I have Elements, and am getting to grips with it, but I think that it will always have stuff that is just beyond me! Some people are really good though, and I am always impressed with what they can do!
Have fun Betty and be careful.
Let me know how Photoshop goes, i was thinking of getting it myself.
Take care!

Well I know you'll have a great time! and another long drive...and I hope you beat the thunder and lightning back home.
Cute cute photo! I need to take the time to learn all the features in my photo-editing, painting, etc. program (Corel)....I can't seem to follow instructions well though.
What a little love!
Learning new things about computers just never stops. And when you buy a program, you find you have to buy something else to make it work.
Good luck with photoshop. I've never used Elements but use Photoshop all the time. After four years I haven't begun to use more than a tenth of what it can do but it's really good stuff. (And most people say the same)
You need a very good tutor book! (don't know if you can get Adobe Photoshop Focus magazine over there - it's very helpful and easy to follow)
