Weddings, Memories, etc.

 I was at the hospital the day Aly was born. February 2, 1975. She is my twin sister's child. She is my god daughter, I'm her Madrina. I'm her oldest daughter, Kaitlyn's Madrina too. She's my ground hog baby. I was there while both her babies were born. She was a coach when my baby, Lyndsey, had Makayla. I've helped her celebrate her joys and tried to be there for her when she suffered her sorrows.  

Her wedding is Saturday, July 26, in Maui (Hawaii) . My sons and Carla will be there. I'm glad her cousins will be there. Her Mom and Dad will be there too. I'm glad. 

I can't go.  It seems most of her family can't go right now.

 I have avoided thinking about it for the most part. I "put it away" when I'd start to think about it and face the fact that I wouldn't scrape the money together and be there to get in the way with my camera when Aly, Kat & Emma celebrated marriage to Saul. She's been through a lot, my little ground hog, in the last 5 years. I really wanted to be there to experience her joy. I feel like I'm crashing hard today, in the reality of not being there Saturday. 

 Wah wah wah... Welcome to my pitty party. Carla has promised to take a lot of pictures. So will Kathie, her mom. (you will right Sis?) Ricky took his camera, but I don't expect a lot of pictures from him.  He's more into experiencing life.. I will be posting a photo of Aly, ready for the rest of her life next week when I get photos from Kathie.

Today, I'll post of photo of her at her shower. Saturday will be a good day. A Day Aly's life starts with Saul. You'll be beautiful, Kat  & Ema will be beautiful, Your mom will be happy and your dad, proud.  The Day Will be Perfect for your Wedding in Maui.      Love you honey.
