Painting the "Cowboy Room"
We had a great day today.. Well I did. I've been wanting to paint the Guest room for quite some time and today we did. Paul was none to happy for sure, but he came around. It's a little/lot dark but I think it'll work with the Cowboy stuff.
Hope you all had a great day everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog today.
I actually enjoy painting but hate the get ready part. I would rather paint outdoors than in.
When I was born and growing up there was no such thing as interior wall paint. The only interior color was white in either gloss or semi-gloss and it was only used on woodwork and kitchen cabinets. It was an oil based paint and require turpentine to thin and the rooms were almost unusable for several days.
So everyone used wall paper to change the appearance of their rooms.
Forgot to say that I have heard some pretty sad tales about those who use this drug and suppose it must be in the dosage. I am asking my family doctor for his recommendation as I don't want or need a suppressed immune system at my age.
I see you are still painting just like when I was here this morning. LOL
I read the 10 comments people left in response to my thinking I would stop or quit posting on my Better Blog Writing blog. Then I felt bad. So I got some pictures I took this morning and arranged them on Better Blog Writing as a kind of continuation. Take a look and if it is something you can learn from then I will continue.

It's the color in my bedroom and a little lighter than my living room. Copy Cat!
It looks great - and it looks like Paul did all the work!
You're right on both counts Kathie! I tried to get a different color.. the matching thing at lowes.. anyway.
