Everything Happens for a Reason

A great day. On our way to meet our friends, Annika and Sarah, I had to get a blood draw. I have a blood clotting disorder that has cause 3 Pulmonary Embolisms.. I am pretty sure I've whined about it on this blog. Well, my blood levels today were very low. Low enough to have been somewhat dangerous on a long plane ride. So there you go. A Blood Clot would not have gone along with Aly's Wedding day. So there you go.

At my second appointment today, I got a disturbing bit of news. The CT scan I had weeks ago to check for Diverticulitis, showed part of my lung. They found a spot on my lung and want to check me again in a month. As an exSmoker I tend to go pale when hearing something about potential lung problems. It's probably nothing. They're checking it very early. It could also be the same "spot" they found in 2005 which was nothing. THAT's what I'm thinking.

We had a great time at Sarah's and were treated to a great lunch at a restaurant close by Sarah's house. She's in the middle of a move so here's hoping we didn't put her behind. Annika and Sabby play like best friends as soon as they're together. They're only about two months apart. I regretted NOT taking my camera to the restaurant as soon as they stood on their seats and started watching the cooks prepare their meal and I saw them linking arms.. I got a couple when we got back to the house. Gunnar is there in the hat with their Puppy, Charlie. An adorable Golden Retriever puppy.
Hope you all had a great day too.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog today.

Whenever you forget your camera, that's when a great photo opportunity comes along :)
Hoping the spot comes to nothing. Lots of them do.

Yes! Glad you didn't get on that plane. Sure hope all checks out well and I'm confident it will...You don't need to have to deal with that.

Cute pics of the girls....

Don't worry too much. They found two spots on my lung and I have never smoked. The doctor doesn't seem too worried. But I'll go back in a month or two just to make sure. My mother was an inveterate smoker when I was a child and I grew up among all those English coal fires and real sooty smog.

Thanks everyone. I'm sure it's nothing too. Newer Doctor, new CT lab. I'm sure, mostly sure, it's the same spot that's been there 3 years and no growth...also known as .. NOTHING. Thanks

Yes I just know it is NOTHING, a NO-thing.
