Sleeping and NOT Sleeping

I am up again, not sleeping. I'm wondering when it was I could take naps and fall asleep early. When I could be woken up after falling asleep and be right back to sleep in minutes. I remembering falling asleep while driving, or at my desk at the office. I remember NOT waking at the fireworks going off next door.. I miss that. I miss naps before bedtime and sleeping a full night afterward. Gosh I miss sleeping like Miss Pudge up there.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog today.

Oh I do feel for you Betty.
there's nothing worse than being tired and not able to sleep.

(by the way, my Blog is broken and I've started a new one here )

Betty,
I have so many nights when I cannot sleep. Some type of medication is usually the only thing that helps, but I hate to take anything because they all have some type of weird side effect. It would be nice to get normal sleep. I am not sure if I have ever had normal sleep. Every once in a while if I nap during the day, I think that could be normal. Because I remember dreams and I think you have to go into REM to get good sleep. Interesting topic for discussion!

There was a time that I would put my kids to bed at 8:00 pm and my wife would go at 9:00 I would stay up until one or two in the morning that meant four to five hours to myself, oh how I used to enjoy those quiet hours. Now I clanck out all the time, if I attempt to watch a movie I fall asleep by the first 20 minutes. How times change.

Oh Joe, such a wonderful place. I love the town square where the church is. Is this where your family is from? Beautiful place

Hello there Betty! Thanks for coming by and visiting my blog. Glad my Daddy is so proud that he mentions me! He told me you live here as well... that's awesome! I'm loving your blogs too.

Oh and how I wish I could sleep like that too... I think the same of my daughter... they sleep so peacefully.

I'm with you Betty. Right now, it's the hot flashes that awaken me 800 times a night. I'm beginning to despair that I'll ever get even an hour of sleep without awakening. I'm looking forward to winter. Last winter, I didn't have a single hot flash.

Oh Betty, how I wish I could sleep too. 4-5 hours a night is what I'm averaging between waking babies, sitting up way too late engrossed in a book and hearing things go bump in the night.
