Greetings From The Patch

A Quick hello from CA. I hitched a ride down to Southern California with Ricky Sunday Morning. We decided to go to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday and while we missed Sabby, we had a good time. It's one of those wonderful Patches where there aren't a lot of rides; but there's a Corn Maze, Pony Rides and Pig Races. I started feeling kind of crummy though and Lyndsey took me to the ER, where they pronounced my tests showed nothing amiss but I would need to spend then night THEN I was left in the Hallway where finally after a Night from Hell, I signed MYSELF out. Today has been mostly for sleeping. It's still pretty warm in Southern CA so I'm fairly certain it was the heat. Ricky left this morning; and I'll wait for Paul to come down Thursday night and we'll head home together Saturday. So Much for quick trips to Southern California.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog today! Tomorrow I plan on visiting blogs.

Hey, that is not allowed. You can not go to Cali and get ill. I hope you are feeling better. What a great family portrait. Where in S.Cal. are you? When we go it's always to West Covina and La Puente.

What a great picture. I hope you're feeling better though. I don't blame you for checking out when you weren't even given a room. How did you tell them you'd like to leave? Did you say please, can I check out of your hallway now? Sometimes, I just don't understand how hospitals get away with this stuff. I'll guarantee, they billed a room rate or worse, the ER rate which is in time increments. OK, I need to go knit now because I can see my blood pressure is up.

LOL Rudee; I'll be checking that room and will let my insurance company know that I was NEVER in a room. There are numbers along the hallway.. and your "bed#" coincides with the number on the wall next to you; no water, call button or anything. They haven't built a new hospital in Murrieta/Temecula since long before we moved there and the population has quadrupled!!! I told my nurse that homes in AZ were 1/3 the cost of homes in Temecula, yet we have 3 times the number of hospitals.

You know I was thinking...maybe it was Lyn's cooking that made you feel so bad??? Just kidding! Glad you're better and we get to keep you longer!

Great photo at the pumpkin patch. Was this at Tom's Farms! It kind of looks familiar.

Glad all is okay, after your visit and darn, what a way to treat a person, leaving them sitting in a hall all night...
